Raised by a single mother who supported three kids on a secretary’s salary, Don discovered the importance of hard work and making every dollar count at a young age. He continues to reflect those principles today as he helps families throughout the Southeast optimize their finances and plan purposeful retirements.

Don is a financial professional who can offer both insurance and investment products and services. He and his brother, Shane, co-founded Retirement Design Solutions (RDS) after seeing people lose nearly half of their retirement savings in the Great Recession of 2008. Don’s responsibilities at the practice include meeting with current and future clients at house calls, hosting educational dinner seminars, and maintaining investment and insurance portfolios. He is adamant that, when it comes to your retirement, cookie-cutter plans simply don’t cut it.

Don and his wife, Lynn, have been married just shy of 30 years and currently call Gainesville, Georgia, home. They have raised four children, including two boys with special needs, and have also been blessed with four gorgeous and fun-loving granddaughters. When he’s not hitting the road to help clients, Don enjoys golfing, horseback riding and watching football — he’s a die-hard Georgia Bulldogs fan.

Shane C. Stallworth Co-Founder/Investment Adviser Representative

After following his brother, Don, and a trusted mentor into the financial services industry, Shane discovered his passions for research, development and managing complex systems. Today, he helps current and soon-to-be retirees dot the i’s and cross the t’s as they assemble their retirement strategies.

Shane is a financial professional who can offer both insurance and investment products and services. He and Don co-founded Retirement Design Solutions (RDS) after seeing people lose nearly half of their retirement savings in the Great Recession of 2008. Shane wears many hats for RDS, with his duties including computer programming, office management and investment portfolio development. He feels strongly that ongoing management and proper support are keys to keeping a portfolio as efficient as possible amid drastic market swings.

Shane and the love of his life, Joy, reside in Lawrenceville, Georgia. They’ve raised four wonderful children and stay busy shuttling their teens between music and theatre activities and college tours. Like Don, Shane is an avid football fan and Georgia Bulldogs supporter. His other interests include golfing, billiards and playing cards with buddies.
